SECTION 01200 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT PROCEDURES PART1-GENERAL 1.01 SUMMARY A. This Section includes measurement and payment procedures to be followed by the Contractor. These procedures include, but are not limited to the following: 1. Required Submittals 2. Preparation of Applications for Payment 3. 11.ubmittal Procedures 4. 'Jayment for Stored Materials 5. Substantiating Data 6. Payment for Unit Price Bid Items 7. Measurement 8. Payment for Initial Mobilization 1.02 REQUIRED SUBMITTALS A. Submittals: Submittals shall be made in accordance with the requirements of Section 01330 — Submittals and as specified herein. 2. For any lump sum bid items, a Schedule of Values shall be developed by the Contractor and submitted to the Resident Engineer for approval after Notice to Proceed, but prior to the first progress payment request. a) The Contractor shall submit a complete cost breakdown of any lump sum bid items, whether for the entire contract or not, showing the value assigned to each part of the work (activity), including allowance for overhead and profit. b) The Schedule of Values shalt show the sequence in whicli Contractor proposes to perform the Work, all completion dates and critical dates ir'dicated in the Contract Documents, and the dates on which the Contractor plans to start and finish major portions of the Work. The Schedule of Values shall be linked to the CPM Progress Schedule, as specified in Section NETWORK ANALYSIS SCHEDULES, and the activities and durations of the Schedule of Values shall be hammocks (summaries) :;f the more detailed activities in the CPM Progress Schedule. The Contractor shall include enough activities in the Schedule of Values so that all significant portions of the Work, critical interfaces, coordination with Sound Transit and milestone and completion dates are addressed.
