SECTION 01323 <br />NETWOPK ANALYSIS SCHEDULES <br />4. The Resident Engineer and Sound Transit will not be obligated to review or to process <br />any Application fcr Progress Payment until the Conti actor has satisfactorily submitted <br />all updated Schedule information required. <br />1.07 REVISIONS TO THE NETWORK <br />A. Should the Contractor, after approval of the baseline CPM Progress Schedule, change its <br />plan of construction, it shall submit in writing its revisions to the Resident Engineer. The <br />revisions shall include a written description of the logic for rescheduling the Work, methods <br />of maintaining adherence to intermediate milestones and specific dates, and the reasons for <br />the revisions. Changes shall be incorporated into the CPM Progress Schedule in the next <br />reporting period. The Contractor shall submit the revised GPM Progress Schedule to the <br />Resident Engineer as an update to the CPM Progress Schedule as described in this <br />Section. <br />B. If Sound Transit requests a change to the contract and the Contractor believes the change <br />will cause a delay, the Contractor shall submit a written Time Impact /.i,a:yzis in accordance <br />with this Section. If Sound Transit accepts the Time Impact Anziysis, a Change Order will <br />be issued modifying the Contract Milestones or Specific Completion Dates. <br />C. If at any time during the construction, it appears to the Resident Engineer that the <br />Contractor's schedule no longer represents the actual prosecution and progress of the Work, <br />the Resident Engineer may request in 'Nriting an update to the schedule. Ally excessive "out <br />of sequence progress' problems will be considered evidence that the schedule needs <br />revising. The Contractor then shall have three (3) working days to respond :o that request in <br />writing. <br />D. The following shall have no effect of modifying or amending the Contract Time, any Contract <br />Completion Date, any Contract Milestone Date, or the Contractor's obligations under this <br />Contract: <br />Updating or revising of the Contractor's CPM Progress Schedule. <br />Submission, update, change or revision of any CPM Progress Schedule document or <br />report for the Resident Engineer's review, acceptance, or approval of any such <br />document or report. <br />E. Failure to furnish any required submittal or information specified herein shall constitute a <br />cause for withholding any part of progress payments. <br />1.63 FLOAT TIME <br />Float time is the amount of time between the earliest start date and the latest start date, or between <br />the earliest finish date and the latest finish date of a chain of activities on the CPM Schedule. Float <br />time is not for the exclusive use or benefit of either the Contractor or Sound Transit. <br />1.09 DELAYS AND TIME EXTENSIONS <br />A. Following the Contractor's Notice of Delav or Potential Delay or Request for Time Extension, <br />the Contractor shall submit to the Re:-,ident Engineer a written Tirne Impact Analysis <br />illustrating the impact of each change or delay on the current contract schedule completion <br />Capital Projects Commuter Rail 01323 - 7 IFB No. RTAICP 21-06 <br />Everett Station Phase 2 NETWORK ANALYSIS SCHEDULES <br />
