SECTION 01323 <br />NETWORK ANALYSIS SCHEDULES <br />date. The activity times used in the Time Impact Analysis shall be those included in the ,r <br />latest CPM Progress Schedule update. <br />B. Extensions of time for performance will be granted only to the extent that such revisions <br />affect the critical path for the project. The time for the changed activity and related activities <br />will be evaluated by the Resident Engineer based on the Time Impact Analysis and the <br />current updated schedule. <br />C. Each Time Impact Analysis shall be submitted within !en (10) calendar days after a delay <br />occurs or notice of direction for proceeding with a change order is given to the Contractor. If <br />the Contractor does not submit a Time Impact Anz.1;3is within the specified time period, the <br />Contractor's rights to any additional time may be waived. <br />D. Approval or rejection of each Time Impact Analysis will be made within fourteen (14) <br />calendar days after receipt, unless subsequent meetings and negotiations are necessary. A <br />copy of the approved Time Impact Analysis shall be incorporated into an approved Change <br />Order. The changes to the schedule shall be incorporated into the Progress Schedule <br />during the first update after agreement is reached on any time extension. <br />The Contractor agrees that it shall not be entitled to a time extension due to normal <br />inclement weather, which can include precipitation, snow, temperature or other weather <br />conditions »' the areas of contract Work. The Resident Engineer will determine if conditions <br />exceed those of normal inclement weather. A time extension for weather will only be <br />considered if the weather is determined to be abnormally inclement and the critical path is <br />affected by that abnormally inclement weather. <br />1.10 RECOVERY SCHEDULE <br />A. Should any of the conditions exist, such that certain activities shown on the Contractor's <br />Progress Schedule fall behind schedule to the extent that any of the Contract critical or <br />completion dates are in jeopardy, or the Contractor is falling behind more that 15 calendar <br />days, the Contractor shall, at no extra cost to Sound Transit, prepare and submit to the <br />Resident Engineer a recovery schedule. The recovery schedule shall be in a form and <br />detail, appropriate to the need, to explain and display how those activities will be <br />rescheduled to regain compliance with the Progress Schedule. <br />B. After determination of the requirement for a Recovery Schedule, the Contractor shall, within <br />seven (7) calendar days, submit a Recovery Schedule to the Resident Engineer. The <br />Recovery Schedule shall be prepared from the current Progress Schedule. The Resident <br />Engineer will have seven (7) calendar days to review and approve the Recovery Schedule <br />submittal. <br />C. Any revisions necessary because of this review shall be resubmitted by the Contractor for <br />approval within !hree (3) working days. The approved Recovery Schedule shall then be the <br />schedule that the Contractor shall use in planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, <br />performing and executing the Work to regain compliance with the Progress Schedule. <br />1.11 SHORT DURATION SCHEDULES <br />A. Throughout the progress of the Work, the Contractor shall prepare and maintain a three- <br />week bar chart field schedule, developed in Prmavera or Excel, reflecting the schedule of <br />work activities accomplished for the current week and the Work scheduled for the <br />forthccming two weeks. This bar chart shall conform to the comruterized CPM schedule, <br />Capital Projects Commuter Rail 01323 - 8 IFB No. RTAICP 21-06 <br />Everett Station Phase 2 NETWORK ANALYSIS SCHEDULES <br />
