SECTION 01330 <br />SUBMITTALS <br />PART 1 — GENERAL <br />1.01 RELATED WORK DESCRIBED ELSEWHERE: <br />A. Contractual requirements for submittals: <br />1. General Provisions. <br />2. Section 01311 — Project Coordination. <br />3. Section 01729 — Project Record Documents. <br />4. Section 01785 — Operations and Maintenance Data. <br />B. Individual submittals required in accordance with the pertinent sections of these <br />specifications. <br />1.02 GENERAL <br />A. Submittal Log: After award, the Contractor will provide the draft Submittal Log to Resider. <br />Engineer indicating the submittals required by the specifications. Resident Engineer will <br />check the Submittal Log for completeness and accuracy against the specific plans and <br />return an original of the Submittal Log to the Contractor within fifteen (15) calendar days. <br />The Contractor shall provide a final Submittal Log to the Resident Engineer within seven (7) <br />calendar days of the Resident Engineer's revisions. <br />All submittals shall bear the contract name and number, the date or submission, reference to <br />the specification section and drawing number to which the submittal applies, the nature of <br />the submittal, and the Contractor's signature indicating the submittal is in conformance with <br />all contract provisions. <br />C. Submit all shop drawings, catalog cuts, brochures and mailable samples in the quantity <br />specified herein accompanied with a "Shop Drawing Multi -Transmittal" form. Forms will be <br />supplied by the Resident Engineer <br />D. Prepare a separate submittal form for each product or procedure and identify by referencing <br />the specification section and paragraph number. A minimum of eight (8) copies of each <br />submittal will be required, unless explicitly specified otherwise. <br />E. Sound Transit will return a minimum of one (1) copy of each submittal to the Contractor <br />within twenty-one (21), calendar days of receipt by the Resident Engineer, unless explicitly <br />specified otherwise. <br />The Resident Engineer shall receive submittals, including shop drawings, product data and <br />samples from Contractor and shall review and take other appropriate action on them, but <br />only for conformance with the design concept of the Project and within the provisions and <br />intent of the Contract Documents. Shop drawings, samples, and other submission reviews <br />by the Resident Engineer shall not include checking of dimensions or openings for potential <br />conflict. The Resident Engineer's acceptance of a specific item shall not indicate <br />acceptance of an assembly of which the item is a component.
