SECTION 01400 <br />QUALITY CONTROL <br />other devices compatible with the item, system, or operation being inspected or <br />tested. <br />6. Any other information or verification required to assure compliance with contractual <br />requirements. <br />7. Verification that material marking is visible and correct material has been used. <br />8. Specification item number. <br />9. Item description. <br />10. Test standard (e.g., ASTM). <br />11. Test frequency. <br />12. Test acceptance criteria. <br />13. Control requirements. <br />N. All items of material and equipment shall be subject to surveillance by the Resident <br />Engineer at the point of production, manufacture or shipment to determine if the <br />Contractor, producer, manufacturer or shipper maintains an adequate quality control <br />system in conformance with the requirements detailed hereir, and the applicable <br />technical specifications and plans. In addition, all items of materials, equipment and <br />work in place shall be subject to surveillance by the Resident Engineer at the site for the <br />same purpose. <br />O. Sound Transit will have access to areas where Work is performed under the Contract to <br />conduct audits, surveillances, inspections, and tests to verify compliance with the <br />Contract requirements. Access includes on. -site and off -site work areas of the <br />Contractor, Subcontractors, manufacturers and suppliers. <br />P. Surveillance by the Resident Engineer does not relieve the Contractor of performing quality <br />control inspections of either on -site or off -site Contractor or subcontractor work. <br />Q. The Resident Engineer may perform acceptance testing of all or portions of the Work at its <br />sole discretion. <br />R. Calibration records of all test equipment used by the Independent Testing Laboratory or <br />Contractor shall be available for review. <br />S. Test reports are considered Contract Record documents and shall be submitted to the <br />Resident Engineer. Test records shall contain as a minimum: <br />1. Contract or Project Identification number <br />2. Identification of items tested <br />3.
