SP-1.05 ORDER OF PRECEDENCE <br />Section 1.05 of the General Provisions is modified as follows: <br />.eplace Section 1.05, Order of Precedence, with the following: <br />A. The Contract Documents are intended to be complimentary and to describe and <br />provide for a compiete Work. They are also interpreted in harmony so as to <br />avoid conflict, with words and phrases interpreted consistent with construction <br />and design industry standards. The Contract Documents identified below are <br />listed in order of precedence. To the extent that there are different provisions in <br />Contract Documents that address the same matter or subject and these different <br />provisions conflict, the document having the highest priority that addresses the <br />r�atter or subject shall control. In case of differences between smail and large-scale drawings, the large-scale <br />drawings shall govern. Schedules on drawings shall take precedence over <br />conflicting notations on drawings. In the event of discrepancy between any <br />drawing and the figures written thereon, the figures, unless otherwise indicated, <br />shall govern over scaled dimensions. <br />C. Utility Standards referenced in the Contract Documents shall apply only to <br />material and workmanship with respect to work, which upon completion is to be <br />accepted by a municipality or a utility company.
