Industry Standards apply only to material, <br />workmanship and procedure. Commercial terms (e.g. Control of Work, <br />Temporary Traffic Control, Legal Relations and Responsibililies to the Public, <br />and Measurement and Payment) are not intended to be included in the <br />reference. All material, equipment and workmanship specified by the number, <br />symbol, or title of a referenced Industry Standani shall comply with the latest <br />edition or revision thereof and all amandments and supplements thereto in effect <br />on the date of the Invitation to Bid, except where a oarticular edition or revision <br />theraof is indicated i� the reference. <br />SP-2.05 SUBCONTRACTING <br />Section 2.05 of the Generai Provisions is modiFied as follows: <br />Replace Sect�on 2 05 Subcontractinq and Submittal ot Subcontracls with the (ollowinq: <br />A ilie Contractor shall be responsible fcr obtaininq from its Subcontractors and <br />submitti�iq to Sound Transit all required certifications documentation and <br />submitted under the terms of lhis Contract. The Contractor shall be resoonsible <br />for ensuring that all Contract requirements provided for in the Contract <br />Documents that are specific to subcontractinq will be included in Subcontracts. <br />and if this contract is funded by the FTA includinq but not limited to all reportinq <br />requirements and mandatorv FTA provisions set foRh in Article 13. <br />B. Not less than ten (10) business davs orior to a Subcontractor commencinq work <br />under the Contract. the Contractor shall submit a coov of the subcontract <br />document between lY�e Contractor and the Subcontractor to Sound Transit. The <br />Contractor shall ensure that the subcontract document includes all Qrovisions <br />reauired in these Contract Documents. If the subcontract document does not <br />include all required provisions anv resultinq chanqe in the subcontract shall not <br />Delav for which the Contractor shali bear full resqonsibilitv and fur which Sound <br />Transit shall nol qrant an extension uf tima or be liable fo; paVrnent of additional <br />compensalion. <br />C The Contractor is r�sqonsible for evaluatinq lhe "re�onsibilitV" of anv <br />to be "responsibie" AII Subcontractors shall be properlV lice�ised, reqistered, or <br />certified as applicable to perform the assiqned �Nork.
