SECTION 01710 <br />SUMMARY OF WORK <br />PART1-GENERAL <br />1.01 DESCRIPTION OF WORK <br />A. Architectural Work <br />1. Construct a covered pedestrian bridge to connect new parking lots with Everett Station <br />Commuter Rail patron loading platforms. <br />a. Bridge includes two elevator towers and two stair towers with a ground fl�or below <br />for Security Office, Elevator Machine Rooms and Electrical Rooms. <br />b. The two elevators are hydraulic. Cabs are ylazed on one side. <br />c. Foundalions for the bridge piers, stairs and elevator towers are auger cast piles <br />wilh concrete pile caps. <br />d. Elevator and Stair Towers are reinforced concrete with brick veneer with aluminum <br />windows and stainless steel railings <br />e. Bridge struclure is architecturally exposed, paiided sttuclural steel :"�ith COmpOsit9 <br />walking deck and corrugated steei root deck. Finishes include factory painted <br />standing seam metal roofing, wood panel soffit and stainless steel safety screens <br />at the sides. <br />2. Construcl a single story Operations Building, comprising approximately 1,048 square <br />feet, providing space for maintenance and communications, office, and employee <br />break and loilet room. <br />a. Building structure includes concrele footings and slab on grade, slrurtural stud <br />walls and steel joisl roof supports. <br />b. Finishes include brick veneer, ballasted membrane roof, and aluminum windows. <br />3. Provide related building mechanical work, including plumbing, heating and ventilating <br />4. Provide relaied building electrical work, including power, lighting, and communicalions <br />5. Construct trash enclosure, approximately 12 feet by 13 feet. <br />B.
