ATTACHMENT A TO SECTION 01900 <br />REVISIONS TO THE STANDARD PLANS AND SPECIEICATIOWS <br />See ihe Stiaft Special Provision, and Section 6-16 respectively tor shaft installation, and soldier pile <br />shaft installation operations. <br />The tirst sentence in number 3 under Prescriptive Safe Distance Method is revised to read: <br />(3) Equi:�ment Class H(High Vibration) shall include pile drivers, machine oper�ted impact tools, <br />pavement breakers, and other large pieces of equipment. <br />SECTION 7-02, CULVERTS <br />January �, 2006 <br />7-02.2 Materiais <br />The iifth and seventh paragraphs are deleted: <br />SECTION 7-04, STORM SEWERS <br />January 3, 2006 <br />7-04.2 Materials <br />The (ourih and sixth paragraphs are deleted: <br />SECTION 8-22, PAVEMENT MARKING <br />April 3, 2006 <br />8-22.3(2) Preparation of Roadway Surfaces <br />The following new sentence is inserted aiter the first sentence in the second paragraph: <br />The temparature requirement may be superseded by the material manufacturers written installation <br />instructions. <br />8-22.3(3) Marking Application <br />The following two new paragraphs are inserted following the first paragraph: <br />Centerlines on two lane highways with skip patterns, paint or plastic, shall be applied in the <br />increasing mile p�st direction so they are in cycle with existing skip pattern lines at tt�e beginning of <br />the project. Skip patterns applied to muiti-lane or divided roadways shall be applied in cycle in the <br />direction of travel. <br />Where paint is applied on centerline on two-way roads with bituminous surlace ireatment or <br />centerline rumble strips, ihe second paint application shall be apptied in ihe opposite (decreasing <br />mile post) direction as the tirst application (increasing mile post) direction. This will require minor <br />skip pattern corrections for curves on the second application. <br />The second paragraph beginning with "Where paint is applied", is deleted. <br />The tourth paragraph beginning with "Lines with skip paiterns", is deleted. <br />The first sentence in ihe sixth paragraph is revised to read: <br />Pavement markings shall be applied at the tollowing base line thickness measured above the <br />pavement surface or above the slot bottom (or inset markings in thousandths of an inch (mils): <br />In �he chart Marking Material Application in the sixth paragraph, ihe requirements for Type D- <br />inseUlong line (extruded) are revised as follows: <br />�' <br />HMA from 260 to 230 <br />Capital Projects Commuter Rail Attachment A to Section 01900 - 2 IFB No. RTA/CP 21-06 <br />� Everett Station Phase 2REVISIONS TO THE STANDARD PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONSAddendum No.4 <br />
