ATTACHMENT A TO SECTION 01900 <br />REVISIONS TO THE STANDARD PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />Quality Assurance <br />A. The completed platforms shall meet the tollowing tolerances: <br />Vertical tolerances (plumbness) and horizontal tolerances (alignment) shall not exceed 1/4 inch <br />when measured along a 10-toot straight edge. <br />B. Submittals: Submit to the Resident Engineer 4 copir;s of foi.nwork drawings and calculations (if <br />required), detailing the method of piacing the torms near the railroad tracks. No (orming can be <br />within the minimum standard clearance envetope of 4'-8" from centerline of irack, trom top of <br />rail to 8 inches above top of rail. The drawings shall be stamped by a structural engineer <br />licensed in the state oi Washington. All assumptions, dimensions, material properties and other <br />data used in making the structural analysis shall be noted on the drawing. <br />Materials <br />Concrete <br />The concrete shali be ciass 4000 in accordance with Section 6-02 of the Standard Specitications. <br />Reinforcing <br />Epoxy coated reinforcing, •vhere shown in the Plans, shall be per Section 9-07 of ihe Standard <br />Specifications. <br />Backfill Material <br />All backfili material shall be free draining, iree from organic or otherwise deleterious material, and <br />shall c�nform to the raquirements for gravel backfill for walls as specified in Section 9-03.12(2). <br />Foundation Material <br />Crushed surfacing top course shall meet the requirements o1 Section 9-03.9(3). <br />Door Markers — refer to the Architectural project specifications. <br />Warning Tile — reter to the Architectural project specifications. <br />Pedestrian Crossing Paneis — furnish and install per details as shown on plan sheet C-714, per <br />Omec�a Industries, Inc., or equal, and manutacturers' instructions, as approved by Resident <br />Engineer. <br />Consiruction Requirements <br />Excavation <br />Excavation shall be in accordance with ihe requirements of Section 2-09 and in conformity to ihe <br />limits and grades shown in the Plans. <br />Foundation Preparation <br />Prior to wall cons�ruction, the foundation shall be compacted as directed by the Resident Engineer. <br />The foundation subgrade shall be proof-rolled in the presence of ihe Resident Engineer. Any <br />foundation soils found to be unsuitable shall be removed and replaced as provided for under Section <br />2-09.3(? )C. <br />Foundation and Backfill Placement <br />The moisture content of ihe foundation and backfill material prior to and during compaction shall be <br />uniformly distributed throughout each layer o( material: <br />Capital Projects Commuter Rail Attachment A to Section 01900 - 14 iF6 No. RTA!CP 21-06 <br />� Everett Station Phase 2REVISIONS TO THE STANDAFD PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONSAddendum No.4 <br />
