SECTION 09651 <br />RESILIENT TILE FLOORING <br />1 <br />PART1-GENERAL <br />1.1 SUMMARY <br />A. Section Includes: Vinyl composition floor tile. <br />1.2 SUBMITTALS <br />q. Product Dala: For each type of product indicated. <br />B. Samples tur Initial Selection: for each type oi iloor tile indicated. <br />C. Samples (or Verification: Full-size units of each color and pattern o( iloor tile required. <br />D. Maintenance Data: For each type of iloor tile to include in maintenance manuals. <br />1.3 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Fire-Test-Response Characleristics: As determined by testing identical products according to <br />ASTM E 648 or NFPA 253 by a qualified testing agency. <br />1. Critical Radiant Flux Classification: Class I, not less than 0.45 Wlsq. cm. <br />1.4 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING <br />A. Store (loor tile and installation materials in dry spaces protected from the weather, with ambient <br />temperatures maintained within range recommended by manufaclurer, but not less than 50 <br />deg F or more than 90 deg F. Slore (loor tiles on tlal surfaces. <br />1.5 PROJECT CONDITIONS <br />A. Maintain ambient temperatures within range recommended by manu(ac!•irer, but not less than <br />70 deg F or more than 95 deg F, in spaces to receive floor tile during the tollowing time periods: <br />1. 48 hours before installation. <br />2. During installation. <br />3. 48 hours after installalion. <br />B. Until Substantial Cumpletion, mainlain ambient temperatures within range recommended by <br />manufacturer, but not less than 55 deg F or more than 95 deg F. <br />C. Close spaces lo lraffic during (loor lile installation. <br />D. Close spaces to traffic for 48 hours after iloor lile installation. <br />E.
