SECTION 16130 <br />RACEWAY AND BOXES <br />Q. Instail suitable caps to protec' installed conduit against entrance of dirt and moisture. <br />R. Surface Raceway: Install flaY-head screws, clips, ard straps to fasten raceway channel <br />to surfaces; mount plumb and level. Install insulating bus`�ings and inserts at <br />connections to oupets and comer fittings. <br />� <br />3.3 <br />Close ends and unused openings in wireway. <br />INSTALLATION - BOXES <br />A. �nstall wall mounted boxes at elevations to accommodate mounting heights as indicated <br />on Drawings or specified. <br />B. Adjust box location up to 10 feet prior to rough-in to accommodate intended purpose. <br />C. Orient boxes to accommodate wiring devices oriented as specified in Section 16140. <br />D. <br />E. <br />F. <br />Install adjustable sleel channel fasteners for hung �eiling outlet box. <br />Do nol fasten boxes 10 ceiling support wires or uther piping systems. <br />Support boxes independently of conduil. <br />G. :nstall gang box where more than one device is mounted together.
