GENERAL NOTES: <br />1. Coodinate work with ather trade� as required. <br />Determine location of underground utilities and perform <br />woric in a manner which wiil avoid possible damage. <br />2. Provide protection of all property, persons, work in <br />progress, structures, utilites, walls, walks, curbs and paved <br />surfaces from damoge. The Contractor shall pay for any <br />such damoge at nu additianal cost to the Owner. <br />3. During construction, keep pavements and building clean. <br />Protect site and ad'pcent properties from damage due io <br />construction operations, operations by ather <br />Contractors/trades and trespassers. Unfinished and <br />campleted work shoil be protected from damage by erosion <br />or trespassing, and proper safeguards shall be erected to <br />protect the Public. <br />4. Verify installation conditions as satisfactory to receive <br />work. Do not install any site elements until any <br />unsatisfactory <br />conditions are corrected. <br />PLANTING NOTES: <br />1. Planting soil shail be rotatilled into existing prepared <br />subgrade. Trees shall be pit planted with prepared planting <br />holes a minimum of twice as wide as the rootball and at <br />least 9' deeper. <br />2. Sail Preparation: Rototill shrub bed subgrade to a <br />minimum depth of 10'. Clean and remove ail rocks, roots <br />and other material ovcr 2' die. Lay a 2' depth of <br />Compost over entire bed and t:ll again to a minimum depth <br />of 10' to incorporate Compost thoroughly into grade. Loy a <br />2' lift of Compost and till again. <br />3. Substitutions in material or placement shall be made <br />only as agreed between Contractor and Owner. <br />4. Mulch ali planting areas with a minimum 2' depth of <br />mulch.
