The mininitttii allowable stairway riser height is 7 inches. The minimum tread depth is I inches. IBC 1009.3. 2. Stairway handrails are required to be extended at the top and bottom in accordance with IBC 1012.5. 3. The restrooms are required to be accessible in accordance with IBC 1109.
