Findings: The proposed signs identify the company. The signs are in scale with the size
of the building.
Conclusions: The proposed signs are attached to the building and will be in scale with the
size of the building but will not necessarily promote the planned land use or enhance the
aesthetics of the surrounding area.
3. Whether the signs and their placement obstruct or interfere with any other signs or
property in the area or obstruct natural scenic views;
Findings: The signs will be placed on the sides of the building. No freestanding signs are
proposed and the existing temporary freestanding signs will be removed.
Conclusions: Views will not be obstructed by the new signs.
4. Whether the proposed plan is aesthetically superior to what could be installed under
existing criteria in this section.
Findings: The subject property is within shoreline jurisdiction. The signs will comply
with the Shoreline Master Program regulations by minimizing interference with vistas,
viewpoints, and visual access to shorelines.
Conclusions: The two new wall signs will be smaller than the wall signs that currently
exists. No vistas or viewpoints will be interfered with as there are no proposed freestanding
signs.
