Fire Alarm Svsiem -An approved automatic fire detection system shall be provided <br /> as required by City Ordinance No. 1902-92, Chapter 16.76, of the Everett <br /> Municipal Code. <br /> Plans for such system shall be submitted to the Fire Marshal for review and <br /> approval prior to installation. Submittal shall include cut sheets of all equipment <br /> intended for use. Appropriate trip tests, witnessed by a Fire Deparlment inspector, <br /> shall be performed, along with a certificate of completion, prior to tinal acceptanre <br /> of the system. <br /> Fire alarm systems shall be installed according to NFPA Standard 72. <br /> Fire alarm systems shall be installed under permit of the City of Evereit Building <br /> Department. Fire Suppression (Sprinkler) Svstem - An approved automatic suppression system <br /> shall be provided as required by City Ordinance No. 1902-92, Chapter 16.76, of <br /> the Everett Municipal Code. The system must include a mechanical water <br /> gong bell. <br /> Plans for any such system shall be submitted to the Building Department for <br /> examination and approval. Such plans shall include plans for the underground <br /> mains that will supply the sprinkler system. <br /> Aboveground sprinkler piping shall be hydrostatically tested as established in <br /> NFPA Standard 13. Underground piping shall be hydrostaticaliy tested and <br /> flushed as established in NFPA Standard 24 for private fire mains.
