Prior to issuance of any permits, landscaping plans must be reviewed and <br /> approved by the Planning Department per Section 35.100 af the Zoning Code. <br /> The landscaping plan must show location and dimensions of required <br /> vege:ated swales, wet ponds, detention ponds, rockeries and retaining wails, <br /> and grading at 2-foot intervals. Irrigation systems must be provided in all <br /> landscaped areas per Section 35.130 of the Zoning Code. A 2-year <br /> maintenance assurance device must be provided for the landscaping per <br /> Section 35.130B of the 7_oning Code. <br /> Fire Department Comments: <br /> 1. Access - O.K. as shown on the site plan reviewed. <br /> 2. When access to or within a structure or an area is undulydifficult because of ' <br /> secured openings or where immediate access is necessary for life saving or fire- <br /> fighting purposes, the Fire Department may recommend or require a key box to be <br /> installed in an accessible location. A rapid entry system may aiso be desirable in <br /> order to avoid unnecessary damage while making entry to any building during an <br /> emergency situation. <br /> Please call (425) 2�7-8123 for furlher information. <br /> 3. Fire lanes shall be provided as required in Everett Municipal Code 46.44. Fire <br /> lanes shall be identified by red curbs with white stenciling stating NO PARKING - <br /> �� <br /> FIRE LANE" and vertical signs stating "NO PARKING - FIRE LANE -TOW AWAY <br /> ZONE." Location shall be approved by the Fire Marshal. <br /> 4. Premise Identification - Premises shall be clearly identified by the correct address <br /> at the street entry. Buildings shall be clearly identified so as to be visib!•a and <br /> legible from the access road. Individual apartments and suites, where appiicable, <br /> shall be clearly and legibly identified from the access roa�. <br /> 5. Fire Hvdrants - Locatiors as shown on the site plan are acceptable. <br /> These hydrants must have a 5-inch Stortz �tting or a steamer port. <br /> 6. PREMISE IDENTIFICATION AND ALL REQUIRED FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> ACCESS ROADS AND FIRE HYDRANTS SHALL BE IN SERVICE PRIOR TO <br /> COMMENCEMENT OF CONSTRUCTI�JN. <br /> 7. Based upon 14,525 square feet of Type V-N, sprinklered construction, the fire flow <br /> requirement is 1,625 gpm. <br /> 8�0 <br />
