1 <br /> � <br /> 25. Iiydi3ptS - Two available hydrants are required. They shall be located within 200 <br /> driving feet, but not closer than 50 feet, of every structure. The location of the <br /> hydrant must be approved by the Fire Marshal. <br /> 26, �ji e1 rm c Pm - An approved automatic fire detection system must be provided as <br /> required by Ordinance 1902-92, Chapter 16.76 of the Everett Municipal Code. <br /> Plans for such system must be submitted to the Fire Marshal for review and approval <br /> prior to instaUation. Submittal shall include cut sheets of all equipment intended for <br /> use. Appropriate trip tests, witnessecl by a Fire Departrnent inspector, shall be <br /> perfornied, along with a ceR�ficate of completion, pr►or to final acceptance of the <br /> system. <br /> Fire alarm systems shall be installed according to NFPA Standard 72. <br /> Fire alarm systems shall be installed under permit of the Ciry of Everett Building <br /> Departrnent. Porrable Fire protection - A portable fire extinguisher with a minimum UL rating of 2- <br /> A:10-B:C must be provided withm 75 feet travel distance on each floor of all portions <br /> of each building during conswction and prior to occupancy. <br /> 2g, gam�� Idencification - The premises must be clearly identified by the correct address <br /> at the street entry. Each building must be clearly identified so as to be visible and <br /> legible from the access road. PREMISE IDENTIFICATION AND ALL REQUIRED FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> ACCESS ROADS AND FIRE HYDRANTS MUST BE IN SERVICE PRIOR TO <br /> COMMENCEMENT OF CONSTRUCTION OF BUILDINGS. <br /> 30. The Washington State Clean Air Act requires the use of all known, availat�le, and <br /> reasonable mezns of conuolling air pollution, including dust. Dust generated during <br /> construction activities can be controlled by wetting those dust sources such.as areas of <br /> exposed soils, washing truck wheels before they leave the site, and installing and <br /> maintaining gravel construction entrances. Construction vehicle track-out is also a <br /> major dust source. Any evidence of track-out can trigger violations and fines from the <br /> Department of Ecology or the Puget Sound Air Pollution Control Agency. <br /> GENERAL INFORMATION <br /> 1.
