ACG�T - The Uniform Fire Code requires that all new structures shall provide Fire <br /> Department access roads to within 150 feet of all portions of the ground floor. Fire <br /> Department access roads (Fire Lanes) st�all provide a minimum of 20 feet in width of <br /> unobstructed, all-season driving surface with a minimum clear height of 13'6". Fire <br /> Lanes will be posted and maintained as required by the Fire Department. <br /> 23. When access to or within a structure or an area is unduly difficult because of secured <br /> openings or where immediate access is necessary for life saving or fire-fighting <br /> purposes, the Fire Department may recommend or require a key box to be installed in <br /> an accessible location.
