The wcrk was <br /> authorized by youz lettez dated April 28, 1987. <br /> �` The subsurface conditions of the proposed building site <br /> wexe explcr.ed with four test pits . The native soils <br /> enccuntered c�:.sie.ted of dense glacial tills below the topsoil <br /> layei. The area alongside the street has been filled with up to <br /> four to five feet of fill soils,. It is our opinion that the <br /> structuze may be founded on conventional foundations plac�d on <br /> competent native soils or on structuzal fill . <br /> The attached zeport contains a more detailed discussion of <br /> the study and recommendations .
