The site is located on
I 19th Avenue Southeast or the Bothell-Everett Highway (SR 527) as
indicated on the Vicinity Map, Plate 1. Based on a preliminary
site plan furnished to us, we anticipate that the development
will consist of a one-story, slab-on-grade structure having.
dimensions of 65 feet by 180 feet . No site grading plans were
developed, but basQd on out convezsat.ions with yotY, we
anticipate that sane fill will be placed in the building area
and the existing filled area will be lowered .
SITE CONDITIONS
SURFACE
The site is on the west side of the Bothell-Everett
Highway, south of a veterinazy clinic and a dental clinic, north
of Silver Lake. The essentially rectangular site has been
filled to be relatively level with the stteet on the east side.
This filled area is covered with grass and is on the order of
196-136 feet in depth. The remaining portion of the site is
covered with a dense gzowth of fouz to eight inch diametet alder
trees . This area slopes gen:ly to the west. A sewer line has
recently been constructed along the sooth edge of the property.
SUBSURFACE
The subsurface conditions were explored by excavating
four test pits at the approximate locations shodn on Plate 2.
The test pits were excavated on May 7, 1967 with a rubber-tired
backhoe owned and operated by Evans Brothers Excavating. A
principal geotechnical engineer from our staff observed the
excavation process , logged the test pits , and obtained
representative samples of the soils encountered . The Test
Pit Logs are attached to this report as Plates 3 and 4.
GE07'I:CII CONSULTAN'CS INC.
