The calculations should show the manninq�s "n" <br /> used to calculate velocity and flow depth in the swales. In <br /> addition, the calculations should verify that the 4 inch <br /> pipes discharqing to the biofiltration swale are sufficient <br /> to convey the 2 year, 24-hour storm peak di.scharge. <br /> �ietuond <br /> The deaiqn wetpond volume (3209 cf) must be reaclied or <br /> exceeded for the two year, 24 hour (or smaller) storm. <br /> Calculations must be submitted showinq that this is <br /> occurring in this wetpond. <br /> The stage-storage relationship of the pond must also be <br /> submitted to show that the wetpond has the capacity to store <br /> the re�uired volume. <br /> PLAN REVIEW COMMENTS <br /> Veaetated swales: <br /> The following note should be added on the page with the <br /> biofiltration swale cross-sectional details: <br /> NOTE: the specified biofiltration seed mix is not a <br /> standard mix and will need to be specially ordered. Allow <br /> 3-4 weeks for delivery of the mix. If problems are <br /> encountered in obtaining a mix meeting the City's <br /> specifications, please contact Jane Zimmerman, City of <br /> Everett Public Works, at 259-8800. <br />
