Please submit fwo sets of drawings with a response <br /> letter indicating how corrections are resolved on the plan set. <br /> General <br /> 1. To identify �vhat is being proposed as new work on this permit, please revise the drawings as <br /> follows: <br /> a. Indicate new work with dzrk lines. Existing work can be indicated as light lines, and <br /> demolition work can be indicated with dashed lines. <br /> b. New walls should be targeted on the plans to �vall sections. <br /> c. New ceiling installations require a reFlected ceiling plan indicating the scope of the new <br /> installation. <br /> d. New tcilet room revisions require large scale drawings for plan review, identifying the <br /> new work. <br /> 2. The code analysis should include the applicable building codes, referenced at the bottom of this <br /> letter. Additional codes, such as the zoning code, would aiso be an applicable code. <br /> 3. The Snohomish County Health District also has jurisdiction for plan review, and plans should be <br /> sent to them under separate cover by the applicant to receive their review comments. <br /> Structural <br /> 1. Please submit a seismic analysis of the proposed tenant area to meet performance-based <br /> engineering to conform to current life safety performance levels for lateral forces. This <br /> evaluation must indude the signed stamp of the engineer of record. If you have questions <br /> about this requirement, please contact Steve Miller of our office, at 425-257-7Z64. <br /> Occupancy type, Occupancy <br /> 1. Please resubmit drawings that are stamped and signed by a licensed architect in Washington <br /> State, per RCIN 18.08.410 (6) and (7), since the work affects the life safery or strudural <br /> systems of the building. <br /> 2. Please advise if the primary occupancy of the entire buiiding is assembly. If the occupant load <br /> of assembly areas is greater than 300, a seismic investigation will be required for the entire <br /> building at occupancy category III, per IBC table 1404.5, and IBC section 3408.4. <br /> Y3 <br />
