It should be notcd however that the daycare <br /> occupancy may not be increased in the future to exceed 3,000 syuare feet without the alarm <br /> system installed throughout the building. <br /> Addition�lly, the maximum number of persons (children and teachers) permitted within the <br /> daycare space is limited ro 49 total. Because your current licensing is for 30 children, this <br /> threshold should no[ be an issue. If[he number of children and staff is increased over 50, then an <br /> approved manual fire ularni system must be installed throughout the C-3 Occupancy as specified <br /> in Uniform Fire Code Section 1007.2.4.1 <br /> Please also note that an ;idditional comment from the city electricul inspecror that all electrical <br /> outlets must be: of an approved child proof type. The outlets must be revised prior to issuance of <br /> certificate of vccupancy. This may have already been addressed by the State Fire Marshal (or <br /> will be during his forthcoming inspection). <br /> Please notify me when you are ready for reinspection (I will not be in the office until Monday, <br /> June 3, 2002).
