Ervine, � <br /> On December 2 , 1988 , I sent a request for revision to the <br /> existing Shoreline Permit SMA# 5-87 on behalf of our clients , <br /> Streett �ro Group/Emory Cole. After further review by the Vine <br /> project. Their t decis on d as nbased� �n ro ss es a of dtiming and <br /> drainage requirements of the City of Everett. <br /> Since that time, we have met with staff to discuss the issues <br /> and have reached an agreement on how the drainage will be <br /> handled. Based on these discussions , Emory Cole has decided to <br /> proceed ahead with the revisions to the original shoreline <br /> permit. <br /> While the changes to the original plan are minor, it has been <br /> determined by the City that a °ormal review process is <br /> necessary. This current request is to formally start the <br /> revision process for the project . The minor revisions include <br /> additional square footage to both the restaurant and the office <br /> building. The original plan included a restaurant with 5, 500 <br /> square feet and ei two story office builc�inq containing 25, 600 <br /> square feet. Botn of these building 's square footage has been <br /> increased by 108 . This additional area was revised after a survey <br /> was completed that added to the site area . All other elements of <br /> the original shoreline permit have remained unchanged. • <br /> According to WAC 173-19-064 the local government may approve a <br /> revision <br /> "if local government determines that the proposed <br /> changes are within the scope and intent of the original <br /> permit, local government may approve a revision. " <br /> This is further defined b�� the following: ( 2 ) Within the scope <br /> and intent of the criginal permit means all of the following; <br /> (a ) No additional over-water construction is involved except <br /> - 1 - <br /> 2907'F� Hewitt Avenue, Everett, WA 98201 • (206) 258-9308 <br />
