Drainage System") and the maintenance and preservation of <br /> vegetative plantings ("Vegetative Plantings") pertinent <br /> i to the effectiveness of the Storm Drainage System on the <br /> Property shown as the "Preserved Drainage System" on <br /> the site plan attached hereto as Exhibit B, and <br /> incorporated herein by this reference (the "Preserved <br /> Diainage System" ) : and <br /> WHEREAS, Declarant has agreed at the reyuest cf the <br /> Silver Lake Action Committee, a Washington non-profit <br /> corporation ( "SLAC") , to provide a covenant prohibiting � <br /> disposal of petroleum ralated auto products and polluted <br /> materials collected from parking surfaces to the storm <br /> drainage system on the Property; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE. Declarant hereby covenants and agrees <br /> as follows: <br /> 1 . Declarant hereby covenants and agrees to continually <br /> maintain the Storm DrainagP System at Declarant 's sole cost <br /> and expense, in accordance aith and in the manner specified <br /> by the applicable regulations and standards of the City for <br /> maintenance of private storm drainage systems . At the <br /> minimum. maintenance of the Storm Drainage System shall <br /> include the following routine maintenance : (a) ci_eaning <br /> of the oil/water separator system on a quarterly basis , or <br /> ii more often if needed; and (b) repair of the oil/water <br /> separator system within thirty (30) days of system failure; <br />� (c) cleaning of grass-lined swales once ev�ry six (6) <br /> - � - <br />� <br />
