Dust generated duriny construction <br /> activities can be contrciled by wetting those dust sources such <br /> as areas of exposed soils, washing truck wheels before they <br /> leave the site, and installing and maintaining 3ravel <br /> 1 construction entrances. Construr.tion vehicle track-out is also <br /> a major dus� �;ource. A�►y evidence of track-out can trigger <br /> violations and fines from the Department of Ecology or the Puget <br /> Sound Air Pollution �:antrol Agency. (SEPA Natural <br /> Environment/Air Quality Policies) <br /> 30. The proposal must also comply with a11 other City Code and <br /> Ordinance requirements not specifically set forth herein. <br /> 31. The builder should consider setting aside a small area of the <br /> site to compost yard and garden debris from this project. <br /> 32. The builder should use campost and products made from recyclable <br /> materials wherev��r possible during construction and landscaping <br /> of the project. Compost can be used as a soil amendment in beds <br /> as well as in erosion control. Uses of products containing <br /> recycled materials include parkinq lot bumper stops, park and <br /> picnic benches, landscape timbers and sign posts made from <br /> recycled plastic; rubberized asphalt made with recycled tires, <br /> glassphalt made with ground glass, insulation and other bui.iding <br /> materials. <br /> 8 <br />
