Masonry Subcontractor has removed 4" $ 8" CMU down <br />to what was said to be 12" CMU. Upon further investigation with stone <br />hammer, mortar was chipped from top of exposed block surfaces and it <br />was found that 4" F, 8" CMU was in fact still in tower construction. <br />It was also noted that brick veneer mortar. (colored) was used in CMU <br />joints. <br />INSTRUCTIONS: <br />Continue to remove all non -conforming <br />that the use of colored mortar in the <br />is unacceptable. <br />A.
