The applicant proposes to rezone a 1.1 acre site located on 19th Avenue SE, across the street from the Skate Deck, from R-2(A) (Single Family Attached Medium Density) to B-2 (Community Business), with a limitation on the range of uses normally allowed in the B-2 zone. The Planting Commission recommended approval, subject to a Resolution of Intent to Rezone, which would place restrictions on some of the B-2 zone uses and modify some of the B-2 zone standards. A Rezone ordinance would not be adopted until development of the site was completed in accordance with the plan approved in the Resolution. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Concur with the Planning Commission recommendation and (following completion of all Public hearings for the 1996 Comprehensive Plan update) adopt the attached Resolution of Intent to Rezone Greenspace, Inc. property at 9707 and 9709 9th Avenue SE from R-2(A) (Sing': Family Attached Medium Density) to B-2 (Community Business). cca-arca ME
