Yes the occupancy separation wall is intended to continue to the underside of the <br />roof sheathing and has been so noted on the building sections and roof plan. <br />2. The issue of installation.of an oil separator or trap at the open service bays is being <br />addressed in a letter fiom the owner as to the way the servicing is handled and th.e <br />spill and cleanup procedures in place. <br />3. The hazardous materials inventory is a/so being addiessed in a separate response <br />by the owner. All matenals are s!orec' in above ground tanks and nothing is <br />explosive. They have bulk oils, used oils and anfifreeze and things like fhar, but no <br />�gasoline. <br />Consiruction <br />2. <br />3. <br />� <br />The guarcJrail at the mezzanine stairaddresses the portion of the inside rail crossing <br />in front of the wire-glazed window, and the requi�ement to provide a typical <br />balustrade solution to limit openings to maximum 4': I ha��e added this note to the <br />sections en sheet A8. <br />This co�ction addresses the locations of safety glazing. ! have added hvo notes on <br />the floor plan and cross-�fe�nced to the finish schedule that a/so has tlle locations <br />of the safety glazing shown. <br />Fire blocking has been noted at the ceiling line as well as 10' I�eight. This note is or, <br />the secYions. <br />This co�rection/clarification addresses the heating of the lube bay areas. These <br />areas are not intended to be heated, but some roof insulation is shown for minimal <br />tempering of the spacp. 1 have added the notes reya�ding the heat equipment output <br />and the therrnostat settings. The R-11 rnsulation was already shown on the sections. <br />Since there is a iequirement for positive pressurization of the waiting snd o�ce <br />a�eas, it has b�sen recommended to use a small heat-pump ur gas pack system to <br />heat fhe Jiffy Lube and .�ot use a pur� electric system as originally called for. This <br />would reduce several of the insulation iequirements and U-values for the storefiont <br />glazing as welC <br />
