These comments address building issues <br />only. Addition�l revisions or additions may be required by other departments (such as Ucilities, Planning or Fire). <br />All references refer to the i997 Uniform Buildine code, as amended by the State of Washineton and/or the <br />Washington State Energy Code, 1997 edition, unless nuted othenvise. <br />This review does not cover submitted meahanical, sprinkler, electrical or plumbing documents — these permits must <br />be obtained separately and may reyuire further review and submission of plans. <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building <br />Division with rivo completc new sets of druwings retlecting Hte corrections requested. <br />Occupancy <br />I) It appears that in lieu of the one-hour rared occupancy separation wall continuing ro the underside of the roof <br />sheathing, the occupancy separation wall terminates at a one-hour rated ceiling. If this is the intent, the <br />followine comments apply: <br />a) A listing for the one-I�our rated roof/ceiling assembly should be provided. Section 302.2 <br />b) The non-rated ceilin� option on Section D/A-7 should be removed. <br />c) All ducts penetratin� the rated ceiling wiU require fire dampers. Section 713.10 <br />2) The floor oF the automotive maintenance areas should drain to an approved oil separator or trap discharging to <br />the sanitary sewer in accordance with the Unifurm Plumbin; Code. Section 31 I?.3.1 <br />3) A hazardous roarerials inventory list must be provided as per SC-PA requiremeot K3d. <br />Construction <br />I) A guardrail should be providcd where the stairs to the mezzanine pass by the office �vindow. Section >09.1 <br />2) Glazine with the top edge �' or less above the Floor and wi[hin 2d"' of either vertical ed��e of a door (in a closed <br />position) should be labeled as safery elazing on Ihe plans.
