35.100 of the Zoning Code. The landscaping plan must show location and <br />dimensions of required vegetated swales, wetponds, detention ponds, rockeries <br />and retaining walls, and grading at 2 foot intervals. Irrigation systems must be <br />provided in all landscaped areas per Section 35.130 of the Zoning Code. A twc <br />(2) year maintenance assurance device must be provided for the landscaping <br />per Section 35.130E of the Zoning Code. <br />17. Note: EMC 19.18.04 for special regulations pertaining to fast food restaurants. <br />18. The proposed retention and wetpond may not be within the required landscaping <br />buffer. <br />19. A two year guarantee is required for private retention/dention or other drainage <br />treatment abatement facilities serving areas lager than one (1) acre. <br />20. Portable Fire Protection - A portable fire extinguisher with minimum U.L. rating <br />of 2-A: B:C shall be provided within 75 feet of travel on all floors of each building <br />during construction and prior to occupancy. A fire extinguisher with a U.L. rating <br />of 40-B:C shall be installed within 30 feet of the grill and deep fryers. <br />21. Fire Alarm System - An approved automatic fire detection system shall be <br />provided a s required by City Ordinance No. 1902-92, Chapter 16.76 of Everett <br />Municipal Code. Fire alarm systems shall be installed according to NFPA <br />Standard 72. Fire alarm systems shall be installed under permit of the City <br />Building Department. Electrical inspections and approval are required prior to <br />calling for acceptance test. Call 257-8810 for permit information. The Plans for <br />such system shall be submitted to the Fire Marshal for review and approval prior <br />to installation. Submittal shall include cut sheets of all equipment intended for <br />use. Appropriate trip tests, witnessed by a Fire Department inspector, shall be <br />performed, along with a certificate of completion, prior to final acceptance of the <br />system. <br />22. Fire Safety - Fire safety practice during construction shall be in compliance with <br />Article 87 of the Uniform Fire Code. <br />23. Trash Collection and dumpsites over 1.5 cubic yards of capacity shall be located <br />a minimum of 5 feet from the building (UFC 1103.2.2, 1994 Edition). <br />24. Premise identification and all required Fire Department access roads and fire <br />hydrants shall be in service prior to commencement of construction. <br />25.
