a. Findin : The Everett General Plan designates fi s property <br />as 1.3 Single Family Detached. <br />b. Conclusions: The existing use of the property and the <br />requested variance is consistent with the goals and policies of <br />the Everett General Plan. <br />Criterion No. 6• <br />The need for the requested variance is not the result of a self-created <br />hardship. <br />a. Findings: The applicant has stated that the need for the <br />requested variance is not the result of a self created hardship. <br />b. Conclusions: The existing duplex structure is a single story <br />building. An addition can be made to the ground floor of <br />"unit A" or a second story addition can be made to either <br />unit without a variance and meet al) required setbacks. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Adjustment of the City of Everett <br />does hereby order that the requested variance be DENIED. <br />The action of the Board of Adjustment in DENYING a variance shall be <br />final and conclusive, unless within thirty (30) days from the date of <br />issuance and signing of this order by the Chairman of the Board, an <br />aggrieved person or persons obtains a writ of certiorari from the <br />Superior Court of Washington for Snohomish County for the purpose of <br />review of the action taken. <br />DATED this loth day of Apri <br />
