A partial approval for the loan has been 9iven to Mr. McY.ee provided that he meets certain financial criteria prior to the loan being signed. I am in continuous contact with the CI1IP office so that I will know when to back down on this abatement action. So far Mr. McKee has not i'ul.filled the CHIP requirements and the deal has not bean finalized. Time is nearing on the Council date of May 3Uth. I recommend that we proc�ed to submit a resolution for demolition of each building to Council on the Scheduleci date, recommend that Council adopt the resolutions but, advise Council that the resolutions would be held in abeyance for two months. '1'his action allows more time £or Mr. P1cKee to finalize his deal with the CHIP office. If Mr. McY.ee does not comply with the requirements o£ the CHIP office at the end oi the Y.wo month period from the date the resolutions were adopted, we shall proceed with processing the demu•litions which can be stopped with the dozed at the front door.
