"Comprehensive Drainage Plan" refers to a detailed analysis for
12 each drainage basin which compares tlie capabilities and needs for runoff
]3 accomodation due to various combinations of development, land use,
1G structural and non-structural management alternatives. The plan recommends
5 the form, location and extent of quantity and quality control measures which
( optimally would meet the legal constraints, water quality standards, and
1; community standards, as well as identifying the institutional and funding
g requirements for plan implementation. Where no Comprehensive Drainage
i9 Plan exist;, the City Drainage Plan shall be used.
2p (3) "City Drainage Plan" shall mean the City's interim Drainage
21 Planning Guidelines.
22 (4) "Computations" shall mean calculations, including runoff coefficients
23 and other pertinent data, made to determine the drainafie plan with rates of
24 flow of water given in cubic feet per second (cfs) and/or cubic meters per
25 second (cros).
26 (5) "Critical Area" shall refer to areas ihat are highiy susceptible to
27 erosion such as steep or bare slopes, potential slides, flood plains, streambanks,
28 drainage channels, silt bars, wetlancls, bogs, marshes, and poorly drained areas.
29
30
31
32
z
