The requests for an expansion of the <br /> Non-Conforming Use Permit and a modiflcafion of ihe <br /> landscaping requirements are granted. <br /> INTRODUCTI014 <br /> The Snohomish County General Services (Applicant) requested approval of a Special <br /> Property Use Permit for the demolition of the existing Denney Youth Center and the <br /> construc4ion of a new, 110,000 square foot, 100-bed juvenile justice facility at 2801 - 10th <br /> Street, Everett, Washington (subject property). In addition, the Applicant reques:ed an <br /> expansion of the existing Non-Conforming Use Permil:for the allowance of the facitity in an <br /> R-4, Multiple-Family High Density Zone. The Applicant also requested modification of the <br /> landscaping requirements from the required Category B landscaping standards. <br /> On December 14, 1995, a hearing on the requests was held before the Hearing Examiner <br /> of the City of Everett.
