26. Demolition of buildings shall be in compliance with the provisions of the Uniform Fire <br /> Code, Section 8706, "Firesafery during Demolition." <br /> 27. Dumpsters over 1.5 cubic yazds capacity shall be located a minimum of five feet from the <br /> building (UFC 1103.2.2, 1994 Edition). <br /> 28. The Washington State Clean Air Act requires the use of all known, available, and <br /> reasonable means of wntrolling air pollution, including dust. Dust generated during � <br /> construc[ion activities can be controlled by wetting those dust sources such as azeas of ! <br /> exposed soils, washing truck wheels before they leave the site, and installing and li <br /> maintaining gravel construction entrances. Construction vehicle track-out is also a major <br /> dust source. Any evidence of track-out can trigger violations and fines from the <br /> Department of Ecology or the Puget Sound Air Pollution Control Agency. <br /> GENERAL INFORMATION I <br /> l. The Snohomish County PUD currently has sufficient capacity to serve the proposed '� <br /> development. For further information about the electi-ical service requirements for this <br /> project, please call the District's Everett office, at 258-8272. <br /> 2. GTE Northwest Incorporated will provide service to the site. However, new telephone <br /> cable construction will be required in conjunction with the site development. GTE's <br /> engineering will begin when they aze notified of your construction schedules and <br /> te(ephone requirements. <br /> GTE requests that notice be given prior to the start of demolation of the eaisting building. <br /> A technician will need to disconnect existing service to prevent the occmreece of any <br /> other related service interruptions. <br /> If a rearrangement of existing cables on premises or on the right-of-way is r.ecessary, <br /> •- appropriate chazges will be estimated and GTE's Guazanty of Payment form will be <br /> forwarded to you for your signature. Prior to commencement of GTE's engineering for <br /> such rearrangement, a deposit will be required. To insure timely telephone setvice, GTE <br /> requests ninety (90) days lead time for engineering, procurement, and instal(ation of cable <br /> and/or GTE's equipment. <br /> Please contact Michael Hupf, Senior Engineec, at 356-4052 should you require additional <br /> informa[ion. <br /> 8 . <br />
