These guidelines are needed to <br /> keep at bay ugly, unfriendly box-type home and apartment styles that do nothing to <br /> encourage pride of ownership, or encourage community in the neighborhood. We already have <br /> out of character homes on E. Grand that seem cold and out of place with no front street <br /> entry! <br /> Traveling through South Carolina, I have seen incredible historic homes that are the pride <br /> and joy of many a city, many offering tours to visitors.
