The agreement, managed for federal agencies by the U.S. Department of <br /> Transportation,provides federal employees working at King County job sites with a regional transit pass for <br /> travel on allparticipating agencies in the Puget Sound area. King County Metro is the coordinating authority <br /> for the region, and Sound Transit is the fiscal agent. Kitsap Transit is responsible for pass distribution to <br /> participating federal agencies. As a continuing regional partner, ET will honor the Flex Pass on fixed route <br /> service in the ET service area <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign the Federal Employee Transit Pass Program Agreement with the U.S. <br /> Department of Transportation. <br />
