RESOLUTION NO. <br /> A RESOLUTION waiving public bidding requirements and approving a sole source purchase of Support and <br /> Maintenance for Cayenta Financials Software from Cayenta Canada Inc.. <br /> WHEREAS, the City has chosen and used Cayenta Financials as its enterprise financial software since 1992; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, Cayenta Canada Inc., as the developer and licensor of Cayenta Financials, is the only source of <br /> maintenance and support for this software; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT that <br /> because there is clearly and legitimately only one source capable of supplying Support and Maintenance for <br /> Cayenta Financials Software; the City hereby waives competitive bidding requirements and authorizes the <br /> purchase of Support and Maintenance from Cayenta Canada Inc. <br /> Councilperson Introducing Resolution <br /> PASSED and APPROVED this day of , 2008. <br /> Council President <br />
