E <br /> EXHIBIT A <br /> Scope of Work- 2008 Bridge Inspection—Amendment No. 1 <br /> The scope of work for`this Amendment No. 1 includes two extra tasks. The following <br /> describes each task and its associated scope. The estimates of cost for performing these <br /> extra tasks are presented in Exhibit B. <br /> Task 7—Additional Load Rating Services <br /> The services in this task include utilization of the most recent inspection data to perform <br /> load rating calculations and provide the associated Report for the Marshland Flood Canal <br /> Bridge and Dam(Bridge No. EVTB12) per current WSDOT standards. The Load Rating <br /> activities will include both Load Factor Design Rating(LFDR) and Load Resistance <br /> Factor Rating(LRFR) required by FHWA and WSDOT. <br /> Task 8—Broadway Overcrossing RR Structural Investigation Services <br /> The services in this task include structural investigations that will be performed in <br /> conjunction with another material testing consultant(Mayes Testing Engineers, Inc.)to <br /> provide further insight to the structural integrity of the Broadway Overcossing RR <br /> (Bridge No. EVTB5). These activities include in-situ concrete and steel strength <br /> evaluations. Once the testing and analysis is completed the allowable load and weight <br /> limits for the bridge will be reevaluated so the posted load limits can be updated. <br /> A comprehensive Report with recommendations shall be compiled regarding the results <br /> and conclusions from the activities mentioned above. <br /> Page 1 <br />
