A 20 minute storm discharging at a rate of 0.2 cubic feat <br />per second requires a storage capacity of 3000 cubic feet. The plan review <br />shows a discharge of 0.25 cubic feet per second which requires 3680 cubic <br />feet of storage capacity. Another matter that needs attention is that tie <br />area under development appears to exceed 3-1/2 acres; therefore, the <br />calculations must be corrected accordingly. <br />Also, no details of orifice were provided and the pencilled corrections <br />and additions to the plans are unsatisfactory. In addition, the plans are <br />required to show protection from blockage by siltation (such as rack work) <br />at thv outlet pipe, also required is the ronding capacity and necessary <br />details about the detention; the .control is to be placed in i]:^_ pond <br />rather than in the parking area; and safety fencing is reruirod on pond <br />slopes in e:ress of 3 to 1 ratio. <br />The pze'per proceduTa for resubmittal of the revised plans Is to deliver <br />4 set- of plans and calculations to the Building Department which is located <br />on Olympic Drive at Hadison. Pl vs shall not be delivered directly to the <br />Public Works Department. <br />I have enclosed, for your convenience, an acceptable format for submittal <br />Of the required drainage plan. Additionally, an illustration on the <br />apprc:p-iate form has been provided based on the 3-1/2 acre proposal rather <br />than on tin larger area. <br />
