Checklist Review #81-45 PROPOSAL: CITY OF EVERETT, EVERETT WASHINGTON Construction of a warehouse and related grading, paving, and utility work. RECOMMENDATIONS: It is the recommendation of the Public Works Department that issuance of a Negative Declaration be subject to the following: 1. Detailed drawings shall be submitted to the Public Works Department showing parking R yout, landscaping, utilities, storm drainage, ternporary construction erosion control, and all required improvements in the public right-of-way. Public Works Department approval of these drawings is required prior to any permits being issued. All improvements shall be completed, approved, and bonded before the Occupancy Permit is issued. 2. City streets and alleys are to be kept clear of dirt and debris at all times during construction. Dust suppression and street cleaning must occur as directed by the Public Works Inspector. 3. As-builts of storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and water systems will be required. Water asbuilts must be in the form of the original stamped mylar and shall be submitted with easements as required within 30 days of connection. A 15' foot easement will be provided for the 6" water line or a detector check valve assembly will be required. Storm and sanitary sewer systems can be submitted as prints and must be submitted before the Occupancy Permit is issued. 4. All exposed ground must be reseeded within 30 days of the completion of road construction. If building activity commences within 30 days of the completion of road construction, reseeding will not be required. If reseeding is not practical due to weather or seasonal problems, the ground must be covered with mulch as directed by the City Engineer. 5. During construction, all truck traffic to and from the site within the City of Everett shall be on arterial streets unless otherwise approved by the Public Works Department. 6. Participation in the cost to fund the South End Interceptor is required. The approximate cost based on the preliminary information provided is $0.0213/sq. ft, as of 8-4-81. The actual cost shall be computed by the Building Department per the ordinance in effect at the time and according to the information provided on the approved plans on the date of permit issuance. 7. Water - Domestic water is available and adequate. A fire hydrant is required within 200 feet but less than 50 feet of the buildings. Hydrants require a 6" service line.
