The limitations on this inspection include any noted in the body of the report together <br />with those ]isted under "Limitations on Inspecrions" at the end of the report. IF T'�TESE LII�tITATIONS ARE <br />UNACCEPTABLE TO YOU, YOU STiOULD NOT REL'Y ON TfiE INFORMATION IN THIS <br />REPORT POR ANY PURPOSE WfiATSOEVER. <br />EVALUATIONS <br />There is some decay in local azeas of the roof trusses as a result of a history of poor attic <br />ventilation and roof leakage. 1 recommend that the trusses be restored by removing all of the <br />decayed inaterial. The top cord o£the truss can then have a 2x8, sistered along side of the <br />existing lruss. The new member must span from one support to the next with no splices. Tt shall <br />also be well nailed to each member that it intersects. The nailing sehedule for a typical repair is <br />shown on the attached sketch. <br />1 also noted some decay in the ledger that suppons the trusses.
