These <br />comments address building issues only, additional revisions �. additions may be required by other <br />departments (such as Utilitias, Planning or Fire). All references refer ro the 1997 Uniform Building <br />Code, as amended by the State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 1997 Edition, <br />unless stated otherwise. <br />In order for the processing� of your application to continue, it will be necessary to <br />provide the Building Division with two compiete new sets of drawings reflecting <br />the corrections requested. <br />� 1. City Ordinance 1902-92 requires sprinkler sysrems in R-1 occupancies containing mom than <br />four units. Please indicate on tl�e drawings that this will be accomplished. <br />� Ordinance 1902-92 also requires a monitored automatic fire detection system in each <br />building. Please indicate on the drawings that this will be accomplished. <br />`� 3. UBC Table 11-B requires there be two accessible (or adaptable) type "A" units. Please <br />indicate where these units will be located.. ? <br />� 4. UBC f107.1.4 requires an accessible parking spot for each rype "A" unit. These spots are <br />, required to be those that are closest to the rype "A" units (Section 1107.1.G). UBC <br />1107.1.4 also requires one additional accessible spot. Please revise the site plan. <br />�l 5. UBC 1106.27.1 reGuires the ground floor units that are not type "A" ro be type "B". <br />Drawings should be clear that all of these units will comply with 1106.27.1 (i.e., 2'-10" <br />' doors throughout). <br />� 6. The unit B floor p!an on Sheet UP-1 shows the toilet and door encroaching into the 60" <br />round maneuvering area. Also, this plan does not provide the clear floor space in fron[ of <br />the tub per Section 1106.11.9.1. Please revise. <br />`" 7. Please provide fixture and lavatory heights, etc. Are we missing the Sheet TJP 2/2 referred <br />to on UP-2? <br />�8.
