the project included a review of the proposed changes to the view corridors and public space <br />amenities regarding the project resulting in a recommendation to City Council for approval of the <br />redesigned project; and <br />WHEREAS, City Council did on January 21, 2015, hold a public hearing regarding the <br />redesigned Waterfront Place Central Development Project and did adopt Resolution 6814 <br />amending certain resolutions pertaining to the master plan and development agreement between <br />the City of Everett and the Port of Everett approving the new redesigned development project; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the purpose of the view corridors that were <br />intended in Ordinance No. 2971-07 are served with the redesigned Waterfront Place Central <br />Development Project and through this Amendment, the City Council does not alter the street <br />vacations granted in Ordinance No. 2971-07 or change any of the conditions set forth in <br />Ordinance No. 2971-07, except as specifically set forth herein. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Everett does ordain: <br />I. Section 1: <br />Section 11 of Ordinance No. 2971-07, which reads as follows: <br />gectinn 11 <br />View corridors shall be preserved and maintained to the western <br />water's edge along the lengths and widths of 13 Street and 14 <br />Street consistent with the North Marina Planned Development <br />Overlay Agreement dated December 28, 2005, between the City of <br />Everett and the Port of Everett. <br />Is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />gectinn 1 1 <br />View corridors and public space amenities shall be provided as a <br />component of the Port of Everett's redevelopment project through <br />public participation and shall be consistent with the master plan and <br />development agreement between the City of Everett and the Port of <br />Everett as approved by City Council under Resolution 6814 and <br />any subsequent amendments thereto. <br />
