Products, equipment, materials or methods described in the Contract Documents ,I <br /> are to establish a standard of quality, function, appearance and dimension. A <br /> I proposcd substitution shall ha�e equal attributes in all respects. <br /> B. Durine the Uiddin�period, �.v:�itten requests by prime Bidders for substitutions <br /> may be considered if received by the PORT at least ten days prior to the bid <br /> � submittal deadline. The PORT may, in its sole discre[ion, defer the consideration <br /> of a proposed substitution until afrer Contract award. <br /> C. Eacli substitution request shall, in accordance with the applicable provisions of <br /> � Sectiun 00700, General Conditions, Para3aph 6.6, describe the proposed <br /> substitution in its entirety including the name of die material or equ:pment, <br /> drawines, catalo�� cuts, pe_rformance or test data and all other information required <br />' I for an evaluation. The submittal shall also include 1 statement noting all chan�es <br /> required in adjoining, dependent or other interrelated work necessitated by the <br /> inco�poration of the proposed substitu[ion.
