RESOLUTION N0. .3 � ( / I� <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing the demolition i <br /> of a building sitvated at 1414 12th Street <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett Planning Director has found that the � <br /> building which is located at 1h14 12th Street to be a aubstandard bullding I <br /> pursuant to the Uniform Housing Code; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the Planning Director issued an ' <br /> Order requiring the owners of the property to make neceasary repairs or to <br /> demolish the huilding; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the required repairs or <br /> demolition have noC taken place as was required in the Order; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the Order issued by the Planning <br /> Director was properly served oa the Title Company interested in the <br /> property; and <br /> WHER�AS, the City Council finds that the owner of the property is <br /> aware of the Order; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finde that the owners have been given <br /> notice of this Council meeting; and i <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that there has been no appeal of the II <br /> Order issued by the Plnnning Director and that the appeal period has <br /> expired; and <br /> WHER�AS, the City Council, upon due consideration, deems it in the <br /> best intereat of the health, safety and welfare of the public tliat this <br /> Resolution be adopted requiring the demolition of the building; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THL CITY OF EVERETT: <br /> Section 1: That the building located at 1414 12th Street which is <br /> legally described as follows contains conditions which are hazardous to the <br /> life, limb, health, safety, welfxre, and property of the public or the <br /> occupants thereof: <br /> The West 48 feet of Lots 17 and 18, and the West 48 feet of <br /> the North 1/2 of Lot 19, in Dlock 227, Supplemental Plat <br /> Church and LaMoure's Addition to Everett, as per plat in <br /> Volume 3 of Plats on page 35, records of Snohomish County; <br /> Situate in the County of Snohomish, Stake oI Washington. <br /> � -..._.,.,���,�..�������cnuanon Dy tne ena ol Maroh. <br /> �EVERE,fT — n resolution was passed by the city <br /> I council to demolish a building at 1414 12th St. <br /> Compleints have been received about the prcperty from <br /> '�� neighbors, expressing concems about children playing <br /> '� in and around the abandoned house.
