February 1 , 1989 35 WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the owner of the property is aware of the Order; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the owners have been given notice of this Council meeting; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that there has been no appeal of the Order issued by the Planning Director and that the appeal period has expired; and WHEREAS, the City Council, upon due consideration, deems it in the best interest of the health, safety and welfare of the public that this Resolution be adopted requiring the demolition of the building; NOW� THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF EVERETT: Section 1: That the building located at 1414 12th Street which is legally descriued as follows contains conditions which are hazardous to the life, limb, health, safety , welfare , and property of the public or the occupants thereof: The West 48 feet of Lots 17 and 18, and the West 48 feet of the North 1/2 of Lot 19, in Block 227, Supplemental Plat Church and laMoure's Addition to Everett, as per plat in Volume 3 of P12ts on page 35, records of Snohomish County ; Situate in the County of Snohomish, State of Washington. I Section 2: That the above-described property is hereby I declared to be substandard and a hazardous nuisance as defined in , the Uniform Housing Code.
