The Contractor agrees to be bound by all Federal and State laws, �i regulations and policies against discrimination and agrees not tc discriminate against any employee or applicant for employrt;ent because of race, color, religion, sex, age, handicap, marital state, or national origin. Such actions shall include but not be limited to, the following: employnent, upgrading, demotions, or Lransitions; rates of pay or other forms of compensation; selection for training including apprenticeship; and participation in recreational and educational activities. The Ccntractor agrees to post in conspicuous olaces available to employees and applicants for employment notice setting forth the provisions of this nondiscrimination clause. The Contractor will in all solicitations and advertisements for employees placed by or on behalf of the Contractor state that all qualified applicants will receive consideration for emplo�ment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, hand�cap, marital I state or national origin. The Contractor will cause the foregoing provisions to be inserted in all subcont:racts for any work covered by this Agreement so that such provisions will be binding upon each subcontractor. 6. The Contractor shall keep such records and submit such reports concerning the racial and ethnic origin of applicants for employment and employees as the City may require. C. The Contractor agrees to comply with such rules, regulations or guidelines as the City may issua to implement these requirements effective on the date of this Agreement. D. No extensior shall be valid unless the same be in writing and be accompa• ,ed by the surety or the bond of the Contractor. (27) Stip�,ation of Venue. It is agreed by the Contractor that a venue for any lawsuit arising out of this Contract shall be Snohomish County. Contractors shall include a stipulatior of venue in Snohomish County clause in all subcontractors hereunder.
